đź’ˇ Why Restart(IT)?
Your journey deserves to move at your pace.
Everyone’s energy, limits, and goals are different. Restart(IT) exists because the world doesn’t always allow for rest, pauses or fluctuating capacity. Here, there is no fixed path — only space, tools, and support when you want them.
🚧 Where We Are Now
Restart(IT) is in its early, quiet phase.
We’re hosted in Notion, chosen because it’s calm and flexible. You can use it to journal, track energy, or organise thoughts — at your own pace. Want to learn more? Free tutorials are everywhere. But you don’t need to master anything — just use what feels helpful.
✨ Mini-projects
Small, flexible, and safe ways to use the energy you have — just like balancing a battery.
🔋 Mini-Projects = Protecting your energy
Living with ME/Long Covid can feel like having a half-full battery.
Mini-projects are designed to be small and flexible, so you can use your energy wisely and avoid “draining the battery.”
🔀 Mini-Projects = Sharing the load
You never carry the work alone. Each project has 3–6 people, so if you need to step back, others can keep things moving.
Your contribution still matters, no matter how small.
🛡️ Mini-Projects = Safe and flexible
In Restart(IT) you decide when and how much to join in. There’s no fixed schedule or pressure.
You can contribute when you have capacity, and rest when you don’t.
👩‍🔧 Mini-Projects in Practice
Examples of small tasks:
- Writing a short summary or updating a document
- Joining a quick online meeting
- Contributing ideas or reviewing someone else’s work
Even 1–2 hours on a good day can add up over time — and together we create something meaningful.
Two-Track Collaboration Model
You’ll find two tracks here:
- Voluntary projects → learn, practice, explore together.
- Paid micro-projects → small, time-limited tasks with clear value.
Both are welcome — but we keep them separate so you can always choose what fits.
🛡 ITSM — Structure
We use some light structure to keep things safe and clear:
- Shared task lists → so nothing gets lost
- Easy pause/hand-off → if you need to step back
- Documentation → so others can pick things up smoothly
- Gentle pace → no one is overloaded
- Safe exit → you can step away at any time
Safe and Simple to Join
Joining is simple: just bring yourself, your laptop and your pace.
No forms, no pressure. A safe, quiet digital space is waiting.
Gentle Weekly Rhythm (Optional)
Some like a bit of rhythm. Others don’t. That’s okay.
We suggest light weekly touch-points (like short check-ins or updates). Always optional.
Calm Social Connection
No noisy forums or constant alerts. Just calm, low-key spaces to chat or share. Drop in when it suits you — leave when it doesn’t.
Shared Recipes & Food Ideas
Food can be comfort, fun or energy-support. We share easy recipes, ideas and little tips that can perhaps make life easier.
Exploring Meaning & Motivation
Sometimes we want to ask bigger questions — about purpose, hope, or just how to keep going. We create gentle spaces to explore that together, when it feels right.
What You Won’t Find / What You Might Find
❌ You won’t find pressure, deadlines, or guilt.
âś… You might find company, encouragement, a little structure, and space to be yourself.
✨ If You Drift Away
Need to step back? No problem. Drift away, rest, return if/when you want. No explanations needed.
Important
We care about safety. That means kindness, confidentiality, and respecting limits.
About the founder
Restart(IT) began as one person’s wish: to make a gentle, meaningful space for someone close living with fatigue (but perhaps ME or Long Covid). You’ll get to know the founder through the project’s story and presence here.
Final Words
This space is for you. However you arrive, whatever energy you bring — you’re welcome.
